Leplató at the XXIV Seville Flamenco Bienal 2026: Producing Andalusian Excellence
The XXIV Seville Flamenco Bienal (La Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla), running from September 9th to October 3rd, 2026, is a central event in the international flamenco calendar.
This year, leplató participated directly through a dedicated collaboration: Bienal de Flamenco 2026 x leplató.
As a production company, our role was to produce three specific shows, providing the structural and organizational support needed for our artists to present their work at this major festival.
The Bienal de Flamenco 2026 x leplató Collaboration
For leplató, producing live performance means creating the right conditions for artists to focus entirely on their craft. Being an official collaborator for the 2026 Bienal was a significant professional step for our agency. Our objective was straightforward: to expertly manage the production of three distinct shows so that the artists could seamlessly deliver their performances to the Seville audience.
The Performances: José Maya, Dani de Morón, and Farruquito
We had the privilege of producing the stage shows for three highly respected figures in the flamenco world. Over the past few weeks, our artists presented the following productions:
José Maya – "Lejano" (September 13, 2026):
We opened our Bienal collaboration with José Maya.
Known for his deeply expressive and traditional approach to dance, José Maya presented Lejano, a show that allowed the audience to experience his precise and emotional storytelling through movement.
Dani de Morón – "Cuadro" (September 27, 2026):
Dani de Morón is highly regarded for his ability to blend traditional flamenco guitar with contemporary nuances. We produced his performance of Cuadro, providing a platform for his technical mastery and intricate compositions.
Farruquito – "Serás Farruquito: el musical" (September 28, 2026):
To conclude our run of shows, we produced Farruquito’s ambitious new project. As a leading figure in Roma flamenco, he presented Serás Farruquito: el musical, a comprehensive stage production that explores his family’s rich artistic legacy.
Looking Ahead with leplató
Successfully producing these three shows at the Seville Flamenco Bienal is a solid reflection of our team's operational capabilities and our dedication to live performance arts. We are proud of the work accomplished behind the scenes to make these dates a reality.
